Privacy Policy

Your Drafts Are Private

When you use AI Eddie to run an advisory session or invoke the Editor-in-Chief, your draft text is sent directly from your Mac to the AI provider you have configured — using your own API key. AI Eddie does not route, store, or have access to your writing at any point.

Each AI provider receives your content under their own privacy policy and terms of service. We encourage you to review the policies of the providers you use:

• Together AI Privacy Policy (used for Meta Llama)

Your Documents Are Local

AI Eddie document files (.eddie) are stored on your Mac. We do not back them up, sync them, or have access to them.

The Community Exchange

If you create an account on the AI Eddie community and publish or browse Advisors, the following data is stored on our server (eddie.media):

• Your chosen display name and email address (used for authentication)
• Advisor configurations you publish (name, description, evaluation criteria)

This data is never sold or shared with third parties. Advisor content you publish becomes visible to other Eddie users.
